Voting by Design: For Students, By Students

(Event times listed here are in PST)

The presidential debate is around the corner. Candidates are practicing their soundbites. Journalists are drafting their headlines. Social media strategists are designing their memes.

But this election is more than clickable moments; this election is about our future.

How do we know that we are voting for something who will work toward our vision of the future?

Vote by Design presents "For Students, By Students," an interactive digital workshop that will explore a new and innovative framework for helping you think about who we vote for and why. Rooted in behavioral neuroscience, the Vote by Design nonpartisan process helps us get clear on our values, wrestle with our biases, and check our assumptions to make more informed decisions at the polls.

Led by students from across the country, this interactive workshop will help you learn how you can turn down the noise, think critically and creatively, and amp-up the power of your vote.

About the facilitator: Zoë Jenkins is a high school senior in Lexington, KY. She is the founder and Executive Producer of the Get Schooled podcast with the Prichard Committee Student Voice Team and a Civics 2030 Steering Committee Member with Civics Unplugged(CU). She is also the founder of DICCE, a Civics 2030 Project, which creates diversity, inclusion, anti-racism, and equity programming and training materials for Gen Zers.

Attendance is free, but space is limited. Please register below. Zoom link to follow registration.
